The tab on the end of the valve cover. What goes here? I think it was the passenger side valve cover. On the other valve cover there is a bracket made into the top where a wire retainer goes I guess so I just put one on. But I don't know what goes here.

I ran the wires for the alternator and horns through that clip on my '71 Charger

Might be a bracket mount for emission device....not sure

Ok..which are you referring too? The wire loom tab or the bracket tab right next to the exhaust manifold?

WH23G3G

Oh sorry I didn't even realize that. I know the alternator wires go through that loom. I'm talking about the slot on the side of the valve cover. What goes there? I'm not sure if these valve covers are 73 or not but if it's something I can use I will.

OK..as stated above, Might be a bracket mount for emission device....not sure.....it ain't gonna hurt anything if nothing slides into it....it's spot welded to the cover...just ignore it

BigBlackDodge

Spark wire clip/loom goes in there I think......to hold wires off of the exhaust manifold.
