Technically, to answer the question correctly, we have been to Canada a number of times...so that is "outside" the USA...I went to Hawaii in '71....plus we traveled the US to go to Talladega in '99.....that's about it for us

I been to Toronto Canada once when I drove semi over the road. But other then that, I never been out of North America, and probably never will. I have a phobia for going on big cruise ships and flying. So, that limits my chances of ever going to any other countries.

No offense, but Kiev has to be the most depressing town I've ever visited, and coldest too...

If you ever need to see something really spooky, guys, go see Chernobyl and Pripyat. The term "ghost town" doesn't really ring true anywhere else...

Back when I was obsessed with bodybuilding and competitive powerlifting I'd make trips 2-3X/Year to Mexico to buy my juice..

Other than that, Canada twice and nothing else... I don't get out much.

I have been to:

Guangzhou, China. That was a pretty cool place to visit. Lots of friendly people there and a bunch of places to visit. There were some awesome parks there. Traffic was scary - especially when walking.

Saigon, Vietnam. I have been there 5 times visiting my wife's family. We aslo travelled to many other cities in Vietnam like Da Lat, Nha Trang beach and Chau Doc just to name a few. If you ever go to Vietnam it is a great place to visit. The people are extremly friendly, but traffic is really scary. I thought there would be some anit-American sentimism, but I found none. Da Lat was awesome. There are a bunch of waterfalls to go see. It has a really cool night life with outdoor markets and coffee houses on the lake. The weather was great too - 50 at night and in the 70s during the day. Best of all - everthing is cheap. Our hotel was $8 a night. The whole family could go out to eat for less than $5 and that includes a lot of beer.

Mexico. I went across the Laredo border as a kid when the Peso crashed in the 80's. A lot of people were going across to buy really cheap stuff. I went across into Juarez in the 90's. My friend wanted to save a few bucks on some Tequilla. I think we went one block before I said, "Let's get the hell out of here." When we came back the border patrol guy gave us a hard time.
OOPS I forgot I went to Playa De Carmen by Cancun...REALLY nice beaches.

Korea. Both the Incheon and Seoul airports...does that count??

Taipei, Taiwan. Just the airport again.

I lived in Germany for about 8 1/2 years (both parents were Air Force). I visited England, France, Austria, Czech Republic each on several occasions. Going back to England next Spring for a wedding....might zip into Germany to see friends while I'm across the pond, if my vacation fund is big enough by then. Also eventually want to visit Spain and Italy.

The total dose from spending a day in the zone is equivalent to what you'd get from a transatlantic flight.. And it's a LOT more interesting than the disgusting airline food, I'll tell you that much :-)

I lived in Spain for 14 years, lived in the UK for 2 years and lived in Japan for a year. been to China and Indonesia. Been to Mexico and Honduras, been to Canada, been to Portugal, Azores,Morrocco, Mauritania,Tunisia and Egypt...been to Portugal, France, Holland ,Belgium.German.Switzerland,Italy,Greece,Yugoslavia,Austria, Sweden, Poland and The Ukraine.

been to all the US States except Hawaii, Alaska, Vermont New Hampshire and Maine....never been to South America.

every place is pretty cool, if you have some money. I been down and out in europe back in the  day and it sucked big time.

Nope.  My mom used to try and get me to visit the mother-country, the Philippines, as well as family that I have spread out through Europe, but I reminded her that she worked all her life and became a citizen of the United States so I could be born and raised in New York; I didn't see the point in going back "there."

The irony of course is that at this point in my life I wish I could visit other countries, just to see the world.  Ah well, mother always does know best...
