Does or did exist ?

284/484 is the good ol' MP grind.  Seems like pretty much every cam mfg. came out with their ball park version of the MP cam, so I would assume yes. 

Keep in mind the baseline used by Crane will impact the performance relative to the 284/484 MP stick.  I'm so tired I'm about to face plant into the keyboard, but I want to say the Crane stick was 284/480, but I could be remembering wrong.  As far as I know it did exist and you should be able to obtain one somewhere if that is what you are after.
