I'm about ready to start my newly rebuilt engine. Does anyone have any suggestions on what brand of oil and weight to us.

The engine builder said that all the new stuff has a bunch of detergents because of emissions.

Either Brad penn or Joe Gibbs oil as they have plenty of ZZDP for protection

What about Royal Purple break-in oil?  I hear that's supposed to be good stuff??

I am not sure if you have seen this thread but there is a lot of good info on oil and what needs to be into for adequate protection.
