Can I plug this outlet on the fuel tank for 70 Charger R/T

Hey guys I purchased a new fuel tank and it only has 2 nipples the stud for the fuel gauge wire on the sending unit. I have the fuel line hooked up going up front to the carb but I have "capped" off the other nipple...is it OK to do this?

I think that's the return line for a vapor separator, your OK.

Exactly right ! If you don't plug it off there will be a huge fuel leak.....not so good around hot exhaust pipes.
