69 Update

So I finally got my 727 in.  That was a bear.  :icon_smile_dead:

Never did a automatic before only stanard trannys.  But the better news was that i verified that the engine and trany are matching #'s when checked againsted the car VIN.   :yesnod:

Next is to prime the motor and fire her up.  I'll keep ya posted

Its a bear to install a 727 by yourself. That I can attest to. Only thing worse than having to do it by yourself, it has to do it outside in the middle of winter by yourself, with only 1 jack, and 1 jack stand. Means you have to crawl underneat of the tranny with your body and hold it up in place with your chest while you get the bolts started.

I can testify brother and give an Amen!   I hope I never have to work under a car outside in the winter ever again.   Did it a lot when I was 20 years younger and had no choice.   How is it that cold air makes objects heavier anyway?
