Same tire/rim size question???

I always hear about the different tire combos...but has anyone here put the same size tires all the way around? Good or bad idea? I was leaning toward 17*8 on all four would that be a difficult task? Pics anyone...

Beyond the technicals, it just doesn't look right if the big ones are not on the rear end.

(295-50 on the back of my Hemi Runner, 235-65 on the front, 5-spoke custom Stockton Wheels, and they look great in tandem, and work even better).

Aesthetics matter, because it adds to the style and fun. But it is also all intangibles and all personal choice.

And, face it, chicks dig big tires.  :yesnod:

And I'm old, and they still flock like bees to honey.

Oops, I didn't answer the question. I think that 17-8 on the front would lead to plenty of problems and compromising, but the forum will surely give you the technical data you need to make it happen. Hope it works for you.  :scared: :scared:

Thanks for the input guys! I think i want to go with cragar soft 8's.
255/50/17 front
275/50/17 rear
17 8 for front and back

has anyone ran this combo??  :cheers:
