The only thing I see  that I question is on the fender tag it is showing X9 twice side by side.Does'nt that mean it should have had a painted roof,as I don't see a V1? for the vinyl top code. But then again it is a factory sunroof car so do they automatically come with a vinyl? But black with tan vinyl top and interior? The black is awesome, but the rest, not my taste!!!!Awesome car though, wonder what $$$$$$ for the reserve on this one?

I bet he wants north of 50 easily. Hell he would probably get more at Barrett Jacksons. I don't care for the tan top over black. With it being a survivor who would want to change it? Now if it didn't come with a tan vinyl that would sure come off if I had it. If it was 3X black or white top and interior it would be more appealing.   :Twocents:

Wow, now that's a survivor.  I'm sure it's all original as he says.  He has every bit of paperwork and connections of people involved.  That car is worth whatever someone wants.  I find the tail panel black paint odd.  One other thing is the very unattractive engine compartment.  What a car!!
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

yeah just been looking at that  :drool5: awesome charger  :coolgleamA:

  Nice car.    :2thumbs:

I wouldn't mind owning it.   Don't want to pay for it but that's  a different story  :icon_smile_big:

I don't think the market will support 50 large tho.

Quite honestly as much as I love black chargers, don't mean to offend anyone, but that tan top and interior looks terrible on the black.Way to original to change. Now,if it was T5 it would be awesome!!!!!!What a car though, wonder what the market will command?

Thats a new one to me as well....

The double X9 (body color & roof color) would be correct for a non vinyl top car....(or a car built at St. Louis as they coded both regardless if it was optioned with a vinyl top or not)

The sunroof designation mandated a vinyl top but only on the broadcast sheet, hand written in with the color as well..

I dunno, after looking it over, I think it looks pretty snazzy. You sure wouldn't ever see another one at a car show.

                Hey,
They made 4243 RT/SE chargers in 1969. That sunroof car is very nice. I don't mind that colour combination at all. As with most sunroof cars it is nicely loaded up with options. The engine bay needs some minor detailing but keep in mind it's all original and is unrestored. I could see this car going for well over 50K as sunroof cars are rare and have great potential.Nice to see another RT/SE sunroof car out there. This car was built less than a month before mine was built.

       Hey Chris,
Is this car the second black RT/SE sunroof car in your registry?

                       Mark

I had asked this to Chris before about R/T SE cars being loaded up as the buyer was going for the luxury end of the charger so why not jack a few more options in it.My 3x9 is identical to this one as far as options go with the exception of the sunroof, actually my tag has more options listed on it.The sunroof car was after jan 1st so the headrests were standard, mine was built before so it was an option, neither of the cars have that on the tags though, same with the six way driv seats.I don't have my BS so I don't know what mine came with for wheels and tires.

Nice car,,,,color combo is different,,,,

I have a RT/SE 440 4 speed car DANA ( not sure how many RT/SE's were 4 speeds out of the total ?? )

Have had it for close to 15 years now,,,,paid $6,300 for the car at that time,,,

I believe that maxwellwedge has known of this car for some time.

Very nice car. If you want an unrestored sunroof car this would be your chance. Personally I think that it would take you close to $60K to get it from the current owner. If it was my car I wouldn't let it go for less than that.

It def is a oddball combo, the car has unbeleivable pedigree, just going to take that right person to drop the funds on that color combo IMO.I love everything about the car,BUT the tan vinyl against the black body.I could even tolerate the tan int combined with the black outside, but would be removing the vinyl and putting on a black one.

Second generation Chargers and Cudas always seem to be at the top of the food chain when it comes to Mopars. That's a nice car and wouldn't mind having it sleep next to my 68.

Just a question, shouldn't the door panels if original, have the small square pot metal decor pieces on the top corners of the map pockets???. If that car was a factory orange car the color combo would be a bit more appeal ing. Don't get me wrong, it's a beauty of a survivor, but if I'm going to spend a huge chunk of change I'll take mine with a four speed, dana, and triple black please.
