Second generation Chargers and Cudas always seem to be at the top of the food chain when it comes to Mopars. That's a nice car and wouldn't mind having it sleep next to my 68.

Your car looks great charge-it,would be cool to have a photo shoot next to yours!!!!! :2thumbs:

Hopefully someone comes forth that bought the car to have it be part of the forum!!!!!

Nope....68 only thing
Cool! I learned something new today, thanks for the info! It's always nice to learn new facts about our cars.  I installed new Legendary panels on my 68 and didn't want to chance ruining them by trying to install the old pot metal squares on the new panels. It bothers me but I'll live with it.

I believe that maxwellwedge has known of this car for some time.

Very nice car. If you want an unrestored sunroof car this would be your chance. Personally I think that it would take you close to $60K to get it from the current owner. If it was my car I wouldn't let it go for less than that.

Yes - It is a buddies car. It is a darn nice survivor. I have seen it many times. He asked me a couple of times if I wanted it...I had to pass because of space limitations - but if the moon and stars were aligned just right I would take it in a heartbeat! The seller is a great guy - honest and no surprises.

The Black and Tan look just right for this car and its options - to me anyway.

I don't know - Looks like his auction ended yesterday with no takers. I'll email him and find out.

It was only on there for a couple days......I bet someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse like NOT Just 6T9 CHGR  noted. It originally started out as a 10 day auction.

             Hey guys,

I phoned and spoke with the owner of the car this morning. He is a really nice guy.
Yes,the car is sold and is coming up here to Red Deer,Alberta,Canada which is only about 1 1/2 hours drive from where I live. So I guess there will be 2 '69 RT/SE sunroof cars in Alberta now.I know the gentle man who bought it.His name is Peter and he has a triple black '69 Hemi charger as well. A very nice add to his collection. I hope to see the car sometime once he has got it up here.

So just how many of the "survivor" Mopars are there up in the Red Deer area? I can think of a handful or maybe even two handfuls.

I'd contact Kori, Chris.  He does all of Peter's work.

Red Deer's turned into the great white north's mecca for old Mopes.

I would hope that he isn't going to be doing any major work on the car. From the few shots I've seen of the car it does not need to be gone through. I'd leave it be if it was mine, but its not so they can do what they please with it. I prefer looking at them before they are restored though.

Hello fellow Charger nuts,  I am the new owner of this Sunroof Charger R/T you' ve been discussing. Don't worry, it will remain the true surviver it is!
It will be joined with my 70 FM3 Sixpack R/T SE, 71 sunroof R/T, 69 Black Hemi R/T, 71 Sixpack Mr. Norms Superbee, 71 FJ6 Sixpack R/T & 69 R4 R/T
I hope this doesn't sound boastful as I'm just a proud custodian with a passion for Chargers that goes back over 33 years when I bought my 1st 69
Charger R/T for $400.00 in 1976. Anyone with a 70 Sunroof R/T out there you may want to sell?..... :2thumbs:
