I'm looking to buy new wheels for my charger. Was hoping you guys can post some pics and the measurements of your tires so I can get some ideas. Any responses with pics will be greatly appreciated!

By the way I have the 8 3/4 rear. Would that be the 4.5 bolt pattern or some other pattern? Thanks!

I have 245/60/15 front (on 7's)  and 275/60/15 (on 8's) rear, Weld pro star wheels pics are on the 3rd gen post your pics thread. I dont mind 17-18's if its done right but have always had 15's  :Twocents:

I think there is a wheel/tire thread on here but what the heck:

I can check the tire if that's similar to what you're looking for. Rim's are 18s and 20s.

Check out this website:

http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/

Go to their "Wheel Visualizer". From there, choose your car, color, etc. You can mix-n-match different wheels, sizes, etc. It is a little cartooney, but you'll at least get an idea what direction you want to go in with wheels.

BTW, they are AWESOME to deal with! I bought my Foose Challenger wheels from them mounted on BFG G-Forces right to my door. Great prices, too!

We went with 17" American Racing AR500 (magnums) on all for corners.. 8 inches in the front and 9.5 inches in the rear

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

My car is a bit different than most builds, but I have two sets of rims and tires.
Front street use I have 275-19 up front on 10 rims and 295-20 on 11s out back
now, for autocross days, track days I have 295x18 on 10.5 up front and 305x18 on 11.5 out back.
Believe it or not, I did not do anything to the body to get these to fit. The XV front clip made way for huge rubber up front and changing from leaf springs to three link out back lets you take advantage of those huge factory wheelwells out back.
Here is a shot of the street wheels and tires, 295s.

Bill, do you have any pics side on with either/both sets of wheels? would love to see it  :2thumbs:

Thanks Mike!
Elanmars: I dont have too many decent shots. The ones in the driveway are of the only time I pushed it out of the side yard. The charger in the most recent Fast and Furious movie has coys also if you're looking for more examples. I believe they were chromed, not painted though.

Im pretty happy with the look, they fit with the car raised and lowered and still have a decent amount of sidewall around them. Nice wheel without being overly expensive.

Thanks, I've been looking for a while and it was between these and a set of bonspeed huntingtons, and I think I made the right choice.

The wheels are Intro V-rods, 18x8 front with a 4.75" backspace, 245/40 tire, 18x10 rear with a 5.5" backspace with a 285/40 tire. So far no issues with rubbing which was one of the things I was worried about. I'm very happy with how they look and fit.  :2thumbs:

Thanks, I got them from a Intro distributer from a goodguys show. It took 3 weeks from ordering to them being at my door which was nice, they said 4 to 6. Their website is www.hvydeez.com. The nice thing was they guaranteed me there would be no fitment issues or they would replace them. I was always worried that the rear might rub and didnt want to get stuck with wheels that dont fit, so it was nice to know they would fix any problems.

I couldn't tell ya' to be honest.  My rears are 8.5" wide so the edge of the tire is flush with the body.

The new springs keep the car up high enough to keep the lip off the tires.  I sold a set that the rears were 8" that the bs was 4".  Since I didn't buy the 295 tires like I originally planned I could have gotten away with keeping them.
