Is it your car that I read about somewhere that had the 5 Rallye door depressions pounded out (home made) by your dad? If so, I'm in AWE!!!  :notworthy: :notworthy:

Me and my dad cut tubes of small pipe bent then to the shape of the indents
Tack welded them on and Filled it it to the shape as the actual
Rally doors... The doors in that area are raised up just a little just have to adjust the door
And shape the door to match the conture of the car....
Witch the result is an identical copy...haha and also beats paying $500 per rally door
It look about 2 days of work for me and him to do it.
I have done all the work on the car other than a little bit of help on the doors and engine work.... Baught the car when I was 16 and did all the bodywork myself and has been an awsome learning experience.

What I can make out, that's a good lookin' ride.  I had a '70 4 gear R/T that was all blue like that.  I seem to like the mono color schemes.

Welcome to the forum.

I appreciate the response.  This is my first Mopar, and I have no direction.  My father was a Plymouth man, and was big on Roadrunners, gtx's and Cuda's.  He isn't around anymore and I'm having a difficult time getting advice on what I should do with this beast.  I don't really care about originality, I'm more or less looking for HP.  But this thing does have the original 440.  I dont know how original everything else is but that's why I'm here. Further more I'm active duty USMC and time to work on this car is slim.  So more or less I'm just preparing for future plans.  For now besides leaky head gaskets and a nearly overwhelming exhaust leak it runs and drives fine.  I'm getting ready to take off for a year, overseas, so I suppose Ill save up a little dough and with what I can learn from here have some funds to back my decisions when I get back.

Cheers,
Hud

Welcome

It looks like your parked in the living room. :icon_smile_big: I wish my garage was that nice.

As for HP I would pull the original motor and build a "500" with another 440 block.

HAHA, It took 3 days to clean this garage out to be able to get the car in here.  I had a unrestorable 67 camaro disassembled in a million pieces, and fluids all over the place.  I finally dont mind walking into my garage.  The only thing that could be better than walking in on a charger would be a charger and a cuda.

I thought about that, I think I will entrust the Charger to my wife.  Surely she can start it and drive it around the neighborhood without screwing anything up.
