The day I brought him home. 1971 Charger 500. Has a 72 400, slap stick auto. I have an 8 3/4 waiting to go in as soon as my springs get here. New exhaust goes on in a couple of weeks too. Have a new fuel tank to put on and finish rebuilding the carb, putting on new hoses and a good tune up and hopefully fire him up for the first time in about five years.  Clickable thumbs. Here's some work I did Sunday night. Now I remember again why nobody wants to paint cars and why it costs a fortune when they do.

1970 Pontiac Turqouise Mist. It changes quite a bit depending on lighting conditions, as you can see in the pics.  It can go from a greenish/silver to a blue/green mix almost.

Here is the end result of an all night death march from hell. If you have ever spent a "considerable" amount of time scuffing old rock hard enamel paint with a scotchbrite pad you know what I mean. Got the whole trunk area though. Under the package tray, the braces, everything I could get paint on. It could have been better, I'm fine with it. Besides who's ever really gonna see it? The hood hinges and quarter panel end caps were already primed and ready to go.

I agree...great color choice. I like it a whole lot better than the 1969 Q5 turquoise.

The rears are 275/60R15 and the fronts are 225/60R15.
