b-e gold 69, yea I still have the Charger, I'm kinda back in the dark ages, it's seem funny to me to hear guys now setting up there motors with smart phones as they stand along side the road, can't remember too many port fuel injected motors back then (late 70's) running the streets, heard mentions of Throttle Body Injection though, guess F.I.  was a rich kids option. In my street action I did not have to have stamina, just had to be quick, anything from one city block out to maybe 3/4's of a mile.
Some challenges were over in less then 100'. Some ended with a fist fight, he11 one involved a baseball bat and I think a crow bar, never did see the guy with the crow bar, just I guess, his shoe marks on the passenger side of the Charger, that could have been a deadly night.
I love to look at MoPar's especially Chargers, what did you call it, car porn :popcrn: :drool5:, from the past (stock / old school racing) and the ones modified with current products, and dream about what I might do if anything with my Dodge Charger, yeah I know there are those that sit and do nothing and then there are doers so I guess that makes me at least for now a done it.
Here's my ride, down by the rail yard under the Route 30 bridge.

oh man thats a good looking car! really cool pic i like the grafitti in the back ground and i also like the peace sign  :icon_smile_cool:! i think i was born too late i havent heard of the tuning cars with smart phones that seems a bit funny but it also doesnt surprise me. its like whatever happend to the good ole days where a person listens by ear and pulls out the feelers and the light.. although it is nice to plug into a machine that gives ya optimum hp and torque but still! wow those sound like some pretty crazy street actions! like things out of movies! sounds like a lot of fun.. well without the baseball bats and crow bars that is. how many chargers took the title? im the same way  man i love looking at mopars and chargers yeah haha car porn. for the last few yeras i was a sit and do nothing but now im gun ho my paycheck goes towards my car what little i can afford that is so now i am a doer and hope to be in soon a done it :coolgleamA:

A pic of my 70 Charger taken last weekend.
My wife and I will be travelling to the United States mid August with friends, and I was wondering if there will be any Chrysler shows/swap meets down the east coast that may be on during our time there. We are travelling (road trip) from New York south through to Harrisburg, then on through Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia to Orlando.  :icon_smile_cool:

JB400

Nice looking 70 :2thumbs:

You meant  Virginia, right

Mopar Nationals is in Columbus Ohio in August. Not on the coast exactly but it will attract a lot of cars from this side of the country. I'm not sure what other smaller shows are around the same time.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks for the complement, tcs69rt
:scratchchin: The year was 1977, and Lakewoods for $19.95 :scratchchin: a low cost add on, Never had any trouble coming out of the hole, cept being pressed back in to the seat, snubbers were snug against the spring bolts :nono:, and with the aid of solid motor mounts, it was a rough ride but I was young and skinny then and didn't mind the torture :yesnod:, good vibrations ?
Can't hear very good either, probably from the straight though mufflers, even cracked the glass in my sisters house window one night, caught the devil that night.

I have tried numerous times to post a pic of the 73 Charger that I just bought but have had no success. I bought a 2012 new, and only have 11,500 miles on it. I used to have a dozen or so 3rd gen Chargers here, but after I sold all my cars and parts I came across a 1973 Charger with bucket seats, console, 440 and 727 tranny that runs and just needs the interior finished and paint on exterior! I will be getting back into the parts chase, and resto game now! I have always appreciated the input from the DC.COM Family on this site, and it is good to be back! I would like to find out how to post my pics!

The pics have to be less than 200KB each.  I usually resize in paint to 800x600 which usually drops it below 200.  You can also google for online pic resizing as on some sites you can put in the maximum size you want it to be.  Then give the pic a unique name or it still won't post.  I usually add the date to the title.
