Darkman

1968_Charger your car is absolutely gorgeous! I love the all black look.

I love your grill too. I just finished repainting mine and was debating whether or not to paint the "argent grey" surround or leave it satin black. You have just made up my mind!
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

1968_Charger

Thanks alot. When I decided to paint the car black I went with painting the grill and surround all black. I think it adds to the aggressiveness and highlights the trim around the grill also.

This is the engine for it! 496 stroker performer rpm heads. Firefighter Ron helped me design this engine a few years back...

This is what she looked like 13 years ago or so. before the car was mine. Major rust crept in on the roof. well it was there already. but yeah. fix it right the first time.

69

Hi guys,

been reading a lot here and figured it's about time to say hello.  ;)

Got my #-matching '69 with lots of information about its 41-year-one-family history (from the 71 year old daughter of the original buyer) in January. Unfortunately, they tried to get it repainted and the painter did a real bad job. But, to be honest, I don't think that I'll re-paint it in short time. It has almost no rust (only rear fenders just a little -> next winter) and still the original trunk-floor  :icon_smile_big:

It's a non-R/T, non-SE, non-Whitehat but very original.

Runs and drives just great and I get a lot of thumbs up - even here in Germany  :2thumbs:

tippytoe

My 70. Originally had a 318, now sports a 67 440. Its no show car, but is a blast to drive.

bunch of beauties!

that 2 hour drive got to stretch her legs a little bit!

Did you buy the car in Germany or had it shipped there?

I found it only after it was shipped to Germany already. I was thinking about using my holidays in FL to check some Chargers out, but my finance dept was kind of opposed to spending quality time in addition to the money  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:
