I take it that's rhinoliner on the wheelwells?>> thats pretty sweet   :boogie:

:o :brickwall: :nono:  Rhinoliner.  Who would do that?

Undercoating looks good when done right. I spray it at work on new Toyotas and Hondas. I hate spraying that sh*t.

Hi there gang, Thought I would see if I can post up a pic of my charger?  I know it has been awhile that I came on this site, but beings were under a blizzard warning, I wanted to see if I can still get logged on ::)

One more day in the paint shop  :icon_smile_cool: (I dunno where we would all be if it weren't for heated spray-booths)

Last shot is zoomed in to show the color difference of the door laying on the floor. The grey color is what the skull+crossbones and numbers+stripe will be in.

To the mopar purists in tears right now; tissues are available in the enclosed trailer queen section. :icon_smile_big:

Do you have a name for your car yet?  It looks cool. :yesnod:

Thanks Man!
No not yet, I kept bouncing between ideas on the name so I figured Id have to get to it first before I could really decide. I'm open to suggestions though .

*Update: the numbers on the doors were put on correct on one door and slanting the wrong way on the other (when I saw that I couldn't believe anyone could be so dumb :eyes: :brickwall: :slap:) but it'll hopefully be fixed today, at which point I can take the doors up to the booth to paint with the body...provided the freeway opens isnt closed due to snow still. If its not one thing its something else :-\.

what numbers on what doors?..  :shruggy:

i'd like to see the car complete before I pull out my hankie...

Finn

I put "08" on the doors lol. Ill snap some pics tomorrow. It took me all day to get up to the car because they shut the freeways/roads down due to snow. By the time I made it to the shop I only had time to apply the r/t stripes so tomorrow Ill shoot the body and doors.

In non-charger-but-still-mopar related news:

While sitting in stop and go traffic on a backway to the paint booth I noticed a familiar roof line amongst a bunch of junk, sitting about 200 yards off the road. I grabbed the binoculars for a closer look and it turns out it was a dark green/primar, solid/straight looking 1968/69 Roadrunner!  :drool5:
I dont know how many time Ive driven this particular road and never noticed it before.
Im going to try to hunt the owner down and see if I can (at the least) take a closer look, C-stripes's story has me all fired up on those mystical once in a life time finds lol.

Hey, might as well join this thread!  My charger has much work in it's future, but here's what it looks like right now.  Yes, small low resolution picture was intentional - to hide a few (few dozen) blemishes. :icon_smile_wink:

I bought this charger a few years ago, and was not able to get much done until recently.  Reconditioned the gas tank, changed out the fuel lines, and rebuilt the carb... finally got it's 400 4 barrel running pretty darn well.  The tires and wheels are new, and thank you dodgecharger.com for helping me work out my spacer needs.  I initially planned to get some slot wheels, but happened across a really good deal on these centerline champ 500's.  Someday I might move on to slots, but I'm pretty happy with the look of these.  Don't see too many of them, and that makes it fun.

Pay no attention to the fluid puddle underneath. :yesnod:  My next task is to end those leaks, so I can move on to some body work... and eventual paint.

Back together? It's not even painted or ready for paint yet. It'll be a good one when it's done though.
