 thanks for the info  ( Chargerus )  :yesnod: , intresting car with a KPH speedo ,  looks in real good condition  from the pictures , considering all the bad weather you guys have over there :yesnod:  , had  a idea it might be a export car , when i saw that id plate rivited on the left front grill frame top plate :scratchchin:   hmmmm  whats that say on there chrysler/ simca of france or something :scope: .

You're absolutely right - id plate says "Societe des Automobiles Simca" ::)
Condition is good only at first sight, - virtually all the mechanicals are need to be repair or replaced. The car came without right front caliper, window regulator (lost), although the body is quite good (but not straght) and the car is almost complete and original :2thumbs: (In soviet years many rare cars owners often swaps original parts for russian or other cheap analogs) :icon_smile_angry:.
Photos speak for themselves: rust behind the door; the engine rebuilding

P.S. You know, all the parts needed are coming from US, it's a little bit expensive and takes time. The restoration just began...

That may have been the same Chrysler dealer in Paris who sold the milion dollar Cuda :o
How many 68 export chargers where made?

could be  :yesnod: i for get there was two  export hemi cudas convertables out of france  ,  one was winchester gray metallic , the other was white .  the  gray one was at the mopar Nat's in Columbus a few years ago , still wearing its french licence plates
hmmmm how many  chargers were exported , i doubt it ,its something we will never know , unless there some old  dealer records somewere in france  :shruggy: , just had a thought , i wonder if the wrecking yards over there , have got any in  ;)  as not many would be intrested in parts for them years a go & still have them there , well a bit far fetched i know . challengers & barracudas were also part assembled in belgium :scratchchin: might have a few in their wrecking yards :scratchchin: although the local Mopar owners clubs might of picked them up :scratchchin:

I'm not all that crazy about styling of the new ones, but I have to admit that is a pretty cool looking pic.
