Here's a couple of pics of the Colonel after I sold it (in '88 for $500). Damn that was stupid!

I dunno...haven't been on the forum that long.

When I bought the car it was already orange with a flag. I wasn't especially fond of the paint job but I was too busy driving it to repaint it.

When I took it home (Missouri) everone made fun of it (until they went for a ride) and called it the "Dukes of Howard" for Howard County, Mo. So I started calling the car Colonel Quantrell after a guy that ran amok in Missouri and Kansas during the Civil War.

Different car. The Colonel one we are talking about was named for a different reason and is yellow.

Sounds like a nice car. I'd love to have a yellow '68 R/T.

I like it.  Looks like a great project.  I'm curious though, are those 70 tail lights?

paironines

Who me?  They are the 69 taillights with the chrome metal trim around each one. I think the sun is just reflecting the light on the tail panel emblem a little too much.

Thanks, yeah I have what is left of a Super Bee. It is just a shell, but it is in pretty good shape. Hardly any rust. Too bad I am better at collecting them than fixing them and getting it on the road.

This was my very first car, 70 Charger 500, was 318 but had a 360, one black seat the rest white. It was light green and very, very rusty.  I sold it to someone near Ft.Wayne Indiana and would like to see it again. Maybe own it once more.

Our 68 Obsession

Hello Everyone,
Here is a couple pictures of my 2 toys. I've already posted a couple of my 74, my 68 is a car that was turned into the General Lee in the 70's, parked in 82 and left for dead. I think these old girls need to be saved, so I'm slowly restoring it as money allows. It looks a little rough right now, but the entire undercarriage and frame is done, frame connectors and torque boxes installed. Also the taillight panel has been changed back to the correct 68 one. Hopefully next year start the ouside body. Cheers
