I have a 74 charger and it feels like the heat is always on, no matter what there is always hot air coming through the vents. Is that normaly? Even when I dont have the heat on? And I checked the blower motor is not going so what exactly is the deal

your coolant redirect valve may not be working.....

Im thinking its vaccum i found what looked to be a vaccum line that was just hanging down the other day. It had a little white ball type thing on the end that im assuming is to allow vaccum to only go one way and not suck something down.

Yep hook that up to manifold vac and it should close the door for fresh air thus eliminating your heat prob. I had the same issue.
