What ever happened with that parts company that got raided while they were at Carisle or whereever about a year or two ago?

I think it had to do with them not paying royalties to Mopar for parts they had made in China which had the Mopar logo on them.  Peter Gee with PG sells the parts both ways.  If you want the one with the Mopar logo, you order if from his US distributor, BEA.  If you want the part without, you order from him in Canada.  The US part cost a little more since they have to pay for use of the logo.  Note that the parts that come from Canada, via china, are exactly the same.  They just grind the logo off if it's in a inconspicuous place.  I suppose if the logo is in a place where it can't be ground off that they just let BEA sell those.

Nope they were stamping everything Mopar without Mopars approval. Reproduction parts stamped Mopar...can't remember the name of the company if anyone else knows otherwise will find out tomorrow. These folks were at Garlits too.

Uhh...no again. Every part I've bought from PG is a factory replica...with the Chrysler logo sanded off.

actually, from my knowledge the parts sold were not stamped with factory markings at all. nothing came of the arrest other than a lot of inconviences at least from what I heard. It sounds like a big mess with ma mopar at the center trying to get more royalty money when people refuse their outrageous fees to allow them to have a mopar stamp on it. Take what i say with a grain of salt though, I wasn't there and i'm sure I don't know all the details.
