My FHO 526 Hemi showed up yesterday it is nestled in the corner of the office until the car is ready for it. Very cool feeling to have poped my Hemi cherry. Ive waited a long time for that.....
How do you get any office work done now?  I'd be staring and dreaming about it sitting there in the corner.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Thanks Guys!

Here is another small update. I got the headliner "teeth" installed today and hopefully with any luck the rear window stuff will be done and leaded bu the end of the weekend.

Oh , and by the way I used the rear window teeth from a 4 door 69 coronet. It worked very well. I did need to slit it in a few places and add some from my Charger ones on the sides ,but all in all very easy to adapt.

I custom made the back glass teeth pieces for the daytona clone and then the trim guy said that he glues the headliner in place and I didn't need to make the teeth type edge.  :brickwall:

Well, the plug is welded and leaded.........Im tired! That took me 14 hours today.

I ended up cuting the hatch off under the window for a cleaner fit.

I have been to Jacks house several times. He has done allot of work on a friend of mines Bird. Great guy and a killer fab man. He is waiting on my bud to finish his part so he can install the nose. Oh Jack built the nose from scratch.

Great work Brian. I glued mine in vs. welding. Last I heard, guy who has my clone now said rear half still very strong, no cracks. I chose the easy way out yes, I will next time also, if there ever is a next time for me in the mopar world of clone building.
