Thanks Per! But don't sell yourself short. Your Charger is looking top notch......There must be a fair amount of skill there in order to accomplish what you have too.

Looking great Brian!  Excellent choices for the color combo... I would use the same combo if I had a Daytona clone built from scratch!

Now that the condition of the car has vastly improved, you need to change it's name tho...   :yesnod:

It's just amazing to watch it transform, If I had this type of welding and body work skill, I would have a warehouse full of Chargers saved from cornfields all over america.

jaak

I'm assuming you blasted it Brian, its cool that you can be in total control over your project (doing everything yourself) and not being at the mercy of others performing the work for you....not to mention the $$$$$ you save doing it all yourself.

Keep it up  :popcrn:,

Actually, I hired a guy to blast it. He comes right to the shop with his own large blaster and sand. He charges less total than what we used to pay just to rent similar equipment to do it ourselves. This way I get to work on customer cars all day while something is getting done on mine.

It is nice being totally in control of the project though. If something needs to be done , I just do it,instaed of convincing the customer and all that first......But then they hand you a bunch of money too.

Sweet work Brian. Very fast progress too. Something I was going to ask you a few pictures ago...do you remove the EDP coating on the new panels before you do the welds?  :popcrn:

Yes , I use a rolok fiber disc to clean off the Ecoat befor welding. You can weld thrugh it . I just like how much nicer it welds when its clean.
