The thing about a car like this is that I do this kind of work so I wont have any labor (to pay for) involved. So a cheaper car with some work to do is actually better for me.

Sorry guys! But I can guarantee that it will not be done for Talledega. This project is going to be more of a long term type build unlike my 68.....That Charger was done right and done fast , but Ive got a 7 month old son to spend time with and then theres the HUGE amount of money needed to build this car.

The only way this car could ever be done REALLY fast would be if I sold My 68 and I really don't want to do that.

I might have a short cut for someone looking to do less time and work .I spoke with this cars owner .He agreed to let it go

I heard from the guy with this yellow one lastnight.

Seen this daytona clone in 85 rust free 69 RT 440 .And still been staying in touch and keeping up with its progress since then.
Its a roller no drivetrain but has a dana and its now a 4 speed.Has 426 hemi but motor on bordeline of being fixable .It was blown up good back in the day.But hes maybe keeping it.I had real rear wing but sold and added repo one  same for back glass .Nose was a repo and sold .But another one is available with car.Other than that complete.Also has 70 charger rolling body doing nothing with

We need instant progress pictures like the "Corn Dog Surprise Superbird"
This clone would be looking ship-shape and ready for paint in about two weeks!
Or it could be like my car and be driven with rust bubbling through the paint for eight years or so (and counting)

OK Fine! Here are some minor progress pics......... wicked rusty battery tray area sectioned.....No more stinkin A/C firewall .......and the radiator support is squared away.....Next will likely be the rear rails. But don't get too antsy I have alot of OTHER things going on right now.
