There are probably many more companies re-popping the Mustang ones than the Mopar ones. Competition. Also it's a "licensed Mopar product". You pay for that but the fit is probably better.

The Mustang stuff in general is relatively cheap. I loved shopping for parts for my '70. The Charger...not so much.

I mean check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-1970-MUSTANG-BUMPER-AND-BRACKET-KIT-/130395914138

Then this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/68-69-Charger-Front-Rear-Chrome-Bumper-Set-AMD-mfgd-/360252624002?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1968%7CModel%3ACharger&hash=item53e0bacc82

And the Mustang one includes all the brackets and everything!!

I can't even find rechromed bumpers for my car, and if I could I will pay probably $700.-$900. Absolutely insane.

That's the truth! Mustangs are as common as anything (even here in Aus). Not to mention that they are a Ford (Found On Rubbish Dump - is a common saying Down Under). They don't have the same appeal as a Mopar! It is wrong though, as soon as you put the word Hemi, Mopar, Dodge etc it automatically increases the prices (just like the word wedding!)
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

Yep, the saying "mopar or no car" should really go "Mopar or multiple cars"  because by the time you spend all your money restoring one you dont have the cash to get anything else

Well... I agree to a point. I'm restoring my '69 Charger and my dad is redoing his '67 Mustang.  I paid a fair price for my suspension--SS springs, new t-bars, shocks, bushings and all the rest. I got my money's worth. My dad paid a little less for his stuff. He got coil springs that would be better suited for a F150 pickup truck. So he bought another set that worked but cost more.
I know he got a complete new interior (pretty nice stuff) for about what a set of seat covers would cost me.  :flame:
As far as body stuff goes, it seems that the Mustang stuff is only comparable to the old Tiawan crap. I haven't seen any of his body parts that I would say are top notch. His new bumpers are pretty chintzy. I think there may be better quality stuff for Mustangs but then you're paying the same price as what we're bit&*in' about.
