My car came with a nasty flex fan!

i need to replace it with the correct item, but im not sure which is correct for my car. Initially i thought is was the regular 7 blade fan, but ive looked at a couple of original A/C fitted cars and they have the wide bladed fan with 5 blades. Anyone know if this is correct?

The car is a 69 RT/SE with 440 and A/C.

It should be a seven blade 18.5" number 216 fan.

I looked up the correct p/n for the fan blade for a 440 4-speed and found to my surprise that it is the same one used on a 318 with ac.  I'am speaking of a 69 charger now.  Note that the fan clutch is not the same between these two applications.  I think the fan clutch most are using is the Hayden 2765 listed for a Jaguar.

The 69 Charger 440 with A/C should be 2863216 Fan 18.5" with a 2658456 thermal fan clutch

The 440 4 speed non A/C should be 2863215 Fan 18" with a 2806070 centrifical fan clutch, this setup was also used on the hemi cars as well as some other applications, but it also depends on if if was a standard capacity system or a high capacity system, but as always what the book says and what came down from the factory wasn't always same from what I have read.

Kevin---I'am pretty sure you are correct on the non-ac cars.  I was referring to the 440-4-speed with ac.

thanks, good info. Will that still be right on a 440 auto with a/c. Never though about it being different between auto and 4 speed.

You couldn't get a/c on a 440 4 speed.
