69 charger ignition switch light By the key hole

hello guys my 69 R/T SE is doing my head in     My ignition switch light is staying on   Is there a relay that controls it, as it drains my battery. and it drives me nuts   The door buzzer still works so i guess there is a relay that works as a timer somehow   but where to

it does get pluged into  a timer delay, napa has them

hi paul ,  chrysler still sells them , part number 2889565   jeeps still use them , got one before christmas  ,  where are they , normaly taped up around the back of the ignition switch in the main harness , i would disconect the relay , as when it goes wrong , can get really hot , enough the burn your fingers

Thank you again TAN TOP Jeep do have them and the part number is 0229565 They are about $40.00 with tax over here in the UK, The guy at the parts counter nearly fell over when I asked for a relay for a 69 CHARGER He said NO WAY man no chance of getting that I said tap the number FELLA and there it was  He went no way man how did you know we had one  I replied a man in AMERICA told me thanks again friend for life .

Hi: We're working on installing an ignition switch light in a 68 Charger. We've got the light and harness but can not find in the service manual electrical schematics how its to be wired in. The relay has a red and white lead running to it. We assume the red one goes to the E2-180 circuit but have no idea as to where the white one connects. Also the bulb installed is an 1892 and the service manual shows it should be an 1445. We assume the manual is correct but don't know for sure.

Any help you could provide concerning the connects and properl bulb to use would be appreciate.

anyone know where the key light relay is located on a jeep itself ....im going to scrap yard and want to pic a few up ,last time i was there i couldnt find its location  ....thanks
