you know trhe ones I'm talking about, they seem to have two basic sizes one inch and two inches though there may be other sizes,.. i see them on hot rods all the time, and I belive the panel has to be removed and then the louvers are punched on the surface similar to a can opener,..

So anyhow - if anyone has any knowlage of how and where these can be obtained and possible costs like is it per louver?..  :shruggy:
 i'd like to know,..
Thanks!

usually its done at custom shops. I used to know of a place that cut louvers into panels for pretty cheap, i think it was $2 a cut, granted that added up real fast. http://www.streetrodderweb.com/tech/0704sr_louver_install/index.html this article talks abit more about it.
the place i knew of went under a year or two ago.

thanks all, great info in that article,.. sizes from one to 5 inches,.. like the old Jag XKEs had...
i wonder if they could be done on top of a chargers fenders like the old Can Am McClaren style?..
that in addition to the NASCAR styled radiused wheel wells would be something I'd like to do...

but other than in fiberglass i can find no instances of louvers on compond curves...
