I like the comment about the yellow #3 Don White Daytona:
"Notice the exhaust going straight out the back,this was started at the previous race by Leroy Yarborough's Ford Team.They figured out when a car pulls up close to draft,the exhaust heat caused the drafting car to over-heat fast! Leroy won the race easily because no one could draft him.So all the teams were doing the same thing at the next race till NASCAR creator Bill France Sr.put a stop to it!"

I'm looking for the same wheels.  Been looking for about two years now.  There were a pair of them on ebay a little while back but of I remember, they were asking $300 for the pair.... plus another $100 or so for shipping.

The Mopar and Ford race wheels will not fit the street car (much larger hubs).    They are very tough to come by, whether it is the early 70's slotted style or not.  There are guys with real stock cars who don't have enough to go around.

I didn't want to get the thread goiong off topic so keep the pics coming.  I went and posted a new thread under the wheel section looking for a source that made rims.  Thanks for the info.
