We met up and made a bunch of great friends at this event.  Bob and Martha (ODZking) own the red 67 charger and Andy (and I forget his wifes name) own the silver 74 charger were hanging out with my parents and me all day Sunday.

Chris G. with the 69 registry...  I took a pic of the VIN of the hemi charger for you.  Only prob was that the fender tag was supposedly missing and the VIN was kinda mangled on the right side of it.  If you send me your email addy, I can forward you pics of the vin for your registry.

As for the gondola ride up to the mountain, gorgeous views however I am not that fond of heights.  Needless to say, I was quite happy to get back out onto the ground at the top of the mountain a whopping 3800 feet up in the air.  I can say that the mountain air was fresh.  We got out of the gondola and it was like someone opened up a thousand "christmas tree" air fresheners.  The smell of pine was so fresh, it felt just like christmas.

Anyway, on Sat. at the cruise in that Hemmings put on, they had classes broken down in to Makes of cars as it was an open car show.  My charger took a Favorite Dodge (first place) award and on Sunday, I took a second place in the Concours d'Elegance show in the special Charger category this year.

Love the recall wheels on the white 69.  It's a real shame about those rims because they look great on the late 60's B-bodies.

It was quite a weekend and as Brian said, we met some great new friends.
I think we were all disapointed that we didn't get more Chargers though.  Maybe only a week after Carlisle everyone was car-show'ed out. 
Oh well, we were proud to be invited.

Tommymac was there with his 68 Charger, on Saturday, and i was there with my 70 Charger on saturday. We were in the "Normal car show" on Saturday. I think we both drove our Chargers a couple hours to get there. I have seen the 69 Hemi Charger @ New England Dragway a few years back (I never forget a charger)...Does anyone here own that car? I thought it was some attorney out of R.I.? I too thought there would be more Chargers, and i read in the book they gave you when you registered for the show on Saturday, that there was to be both a 69 and a 70 Charger 500 in the concourse on Sunday? Does anyone have any pics of those? ( yeah, i only went one day. I know any ways, congrats to you Brian, that was one really nice Charger you got there! Anyone know who took first place??

Thanks for posting some pics from the Sat show.  Im still waiting to get my moms memory card from her camera to post some more pics for the Sat part of the show.  I ended up forgetting my camera in the room on Sat and mom luckily enough remembered hers.

As for the white 69 hemi 4 spd charger, I was talking to the owner on Sat trying to get pics of his fender tag for Chris for the 69 registry.  While chatting with the "owner" he told me that he just restored the car for the owner and said that the owner lets him take it where ever.  Don't get me wrong, it was a really nice car but was not a correct stock resto as far as I am concerned.

very nice pics.  Yeah, I was always on the move on Sunday as everyone at the show knows.  Maybe everyone should have lined up in front of my charger and snapped a shot when I was taking a breather from cleaning it.
