The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I don't remember where I was but somewhere I saw a video of that chicken running around. It was absolutely hilarious.

ok, i say BS, the brain controls all involuntary functions (i.e. heartbeat)  If the brain is gone, the heart will beat no more.  If someone can prove to me otherwise, the  :icon_bs: is going to wave high and proud

Its far from BS. I believe is in the Guiness Book of World Records. The Chickens head was gone, but a part of the brain was still attached to the brain stem. It was alive, and actually was a side show act for many months after it was beheaded.

well, in that case, i will agree with you.  the Cerebellum handles all involuntary functions.  If part of it was still there than it seems perfectly feasible that it could have lived.

Another question is "why would you want to keep a chicken with his head cut off alive for 18 months?"  I am sure he didnt make millions off of it. :D

Well, you can't say you had a headless chicken for 18 months. Neither can I. But then I don't know why I'd want to.

Maybe it's the longest living partially headed chicken?  Because it couldn't possibly live that long if it were truly headless.
Matt. 14:8 (KJV) "And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, 'give me here John Baptist's head in a Charger.'"

He didn't make millions that is for sure. Then again this was in 1946 I believe that it happened. So even if he only made a few thousand dollars off of it then, he was sitting in high cotton.

I can think of a lot sicker things to feed it with.
