Alright guys - heres one for you - I just got my NOS choke for this 1970 Challenger RT/SE I'm working on - it also has the stock AVS carb...    the choke does not allow the carb to sit flush on the intake surface...      I'm thinking that the carb needs a thicker carb gasket....     did the stock set up include a thicker than normal carb gasket ? about 1/4" ?    HELP!!!

On the 70 - yes - almost like a sandwich. I also found I had to bend the rod back on an NOS choke on a 69 - wasn't bent the same as an original one.
