Bought myself a nice new pressurehose for the powersteering which should fit a -68 Bigblock but nope :brickwall:
The fitting on the stearingbox is to small for the nut on the hose so my question is if I can find a bigger fitting somewhere
or do I need another hose? Any help appreciated.

The threads in the steering box valve are all the same, the threads on the hose adapter are different; some have a 1/4" flare which you seem to have and some have a 5/16" flare which is correct for your '68.

If originality isn't a concern, a hardware store 5/16" steel flare union will work if the hex size is correct.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Do you mean like an adaptor between the 2?

Not to speak for John, but yes, I think you just get a fitting to match up.  most hardware store should have the fitting...
