Go Hogs Go

As some of you know I kind of buy/sell/trade old cars and work in a GM dealership to support my 69 Charger. On Monday I had a guy drive this car to the dealership for me to look at because he was tired of his old car and wanted to sell it to buy a C5 Corvette convertible. Both of which I could help him with. After about 2 hours we finally made a deal on the Mopar and I'm still looking for a Corvette. This car is a really nice 2 owner 64000 mile survivor that runs and drives incredible, blows cold air, everything works, and has zero rust. I have all the original documentation and build sheet as well. This is probably the most solid Mopar I've ever bought, and except for the original paint starting to get a little thin in places, is really in need of nothing. It's really a blast to drive.

A few more. Does anyone know what wheels it should have?

Nice find! Looks to be in great shape.  :2thumbs:

Wheels were probably steelies with full hupcaps like these on a old Mod Top I bought. I would put some road wheels on it if you are changing them for a stock look.

i agree - it's gonna need some special (Appropro.) wheel tire combo to set it off...
Americans, Cragers, Road wheels Magnum 500 style,.. but please no rubber bands...

It has a trusty 318. I've got a 440 in my Charger, and had two hemi's. I've got to admit that if I just wanted to drive one everyday, I'd pick the 318. It's a torquey little engine and never acts up at all. I don't care if I ever see another Hemi again. I'm thinking about taking the magnums of my Charger and putting them on the Satellite just to see how they look.

All of the above really. Some of you may remember the green 67 Satellite I bought this spring. I had it at the dealership getting it worked on a guy just passing by fell in love with it, offered me a fair price, and off it went to a new and loving home. Short story long the only car I'm really attached to is my 69 Charger, so I guess everything I've got less the wife and kids (to upside down in them) :D are for sale at any given time.

That's one really nice car that I would definitely want if I wasn't bogged with projects. I love the color with the tan interior as well. Of course I'm biased owning a '69 Ragtop version that's pretty loaded with P/S, P/B, P/Top, A/C, AM/FM Radio, bench with headrests too.  :D

The hubcaps in the attached photo at the bottom are the ones that were on mine when I got it in 1984. Not sure if they are the correct ones, but I think they are. (Might be '68 though?)
