3 speed wiper motor @ switch how do u check it

Under the hood there a wires blue brown green on motor and going to motor from the switch if I recall colors correctly .I put power into each of them.Are you sure its the motor not working .As the wiper pivot are known to seize.Check all connections and ground and you can unhook motor from wiper linkage.To see if it runs
