My fuel gauge in my 69 charger works ok, but I really think its not that accurate.  I have alreay done all the testing and new sending unit etc.  Like I said it works, but my question is has anyone hooked up an after market fuel gauge to work with the stock at the same time.  Can you splice into the wiring would that work.  I am looking to get more correct reading from after market gauge.  To make long story short.  1 car two fuel gauges working together.  I know that sounds like a dumb idea, but good to always have a back up when the old one starts acting funny.

You cannot run 2 gauges off 1 sender...you will get a feedback through the gauges and probably let the smoke out...

Thanks for the tip.  I guess I could put in a toggle under the dash to go back and forth.  Ya think?

You could do that with a switch easy enough. Something like an on/off/on switch.

Or just have the OE gauge in the dash fixed...
