These are not wheel/tire combo I wanted really wanted, but the price was right for now. I wanted to go with the Wheel Vintiques 18" Magnum Billet rims like Keepat had on his 68. These are Wheel Vintiques wheels as well, front are 15x7 245/60/15 and rear are 15x8 295/50/15.  So there they are, nothing special, just thought I share some of my progress.

IMHO, there are two wheels that always look good on a muscle Mopar and that's the Magnum 500 and the Cragar SS.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

So true! they look great  :2thumbs:

Looks more like a race car with those big tires out back.  Dont' get me wrong, it really looks good, but the back wheels seem a little extreme compared to the sleek looking body and ride height.  It just looks like a lot of wheel stuffed in back there.  I'm used to seeing a big wheel like that on 3rd gereration chargers, satellites, super bees and road runners. That's just my taste though.  That's sure to turn heads though.  Really nice car!!

mauve66

that is NOT a big wheel...............

i don't know about the look though........................

since you like the wheels so much i'll send you some crappy black steelies to put on it so it will roll on the trailer to get shipped to my house, i'm willing to help you out since i know that you'll find a better body for those wheels in no time at all.  i'll do my best to do something suitable with that rolling body, out of honor for you of course................

The only way they will look better is with smoke rolling off the back ones!  :2thumbs:

Personally, that's the perfect tire/wheel combo for me. Mag 500's are the way I'm going. B5 is right on...........the rear meats only need smoke rolling off them. Nice job 69ChargerBoy. If you get tired (no pun intended) of them just let me know.

I think you are using Super Stock springs without the correct front hangers - other than your rear wheels being 2" too far forward:  I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

I think your right. I don't have SS springs, they're just replacements of the originals..... I have to do some investigating..... :scope:
