Just want to give everyone a heads up about the 71-74 B body dash pad that is being sold on ebay by Northcoast Muscle car, AKA Northcoast Mustang.  This pad is made by interiors inc in california.  I bought one from northcoast for $450 plus shiping last summer.  The shape was OK and the vinyl wrap looked great up until the first warm day in the sun.  All the vinyl let loose, the glue failed.  I called northcoast where they said I had to deal with The manufacturer Interiors Inc.  They took good care of me saying I must have got a bad one and sent a new one to me and a pick up ticket to send the other one back.  I put the new one in this spring and wouldn't you know it, it did the same thing, all the vinyl came loose.
I called the manufacter again to which he told me that he is aware of the problem and he is not going to make them anymore.  He explained that due to california regulations he can't use the "GOOD" glue and was not suprised the the vinyl didn't hold.  He told me to go back to Northcoast for a refund.  I won't get into that whole expirience, but all I have to say is that Northcoast Muscle car has the worst customer service have I ever delt with.  I'm going on 3 months for this refund which they finally authorized and as of right now they have the dash, but I'm still waiting for a check, They're too busy right now.

I just put my plastic capped dash back in for now, I may try the pad from ultimate rides next spring, but what an expirience.  You all know those pads are NOT easy to change and I've done it like 4 times now.

Sorry to hear that. Seems like the only option is Just Dashes® and pay a fortune, but you get what you pay for I guess

was the group buy with azbob? If so, you happen to remember the group buy price? Maybe he would be willing to sell one at that price still if I mention this website.

Nacho-RT74

is on the respectivelly section, but that was looooong time ago. I think is AZNick. he sells on ebay too.

Azbob is another guy selling at ebay interior parts too. ( but not dashes, just caps )

YES, IN FACT THERE WAS A GROUP BUY

I realise this post is from a while back, but I'm considering a dash cap myself.

Just how good are they, guys ?

Does anyone have a good resolution picture, preferably a blue one.

Thanks,

Peter

Mate, thanks heaps for that.

Am I right to think you had to paint it yourself ? There's quite a few that I've seen that are already bright blue. I'm just about to make an order with Legendary for interior blue panels and if they can fit one in and not increase postage too much, I may get one.

This is just the kind of info  that I wish people din't have to dig for. Great pictures and thanks again.
