:slap:  i got a new challenger thursday!!! tried to order a 2010 Hemi Orange R/T 6 speed, order was rejected. no more orange, whatever is on the lots or coming right now as an 09 is IT. so i got the one off the lot wasn't exactly what i wanted option wise.. but considering it was the only orange 6 speed in the whole southeast almost i'll take it. here are a few pics. of course i've already modded the crap out of it in 2 days.. in true hot rod fashion... swapped out the chrome 20's for some different chrome 20's, limo tint on windows, exhaust, will have the SRT style stripe on the hood next week. let me know what ya'll think!! i swear if someone came up with 50k cash they wouldn't leave with my car.. i LOVE it!!

They are Boss 338 wheels, 20x8.5. i have used them before.. and before those came out, used Coys C5 wheels, and KMC SS wheels, all basically the same look. i just like a deep 5 spoke pattern wheel, but the stock R/T classic wheels didn't look deep enough for me, and the chrome clad wheels look great, but they are almost flush.. i wanted an old school look, while still having some meaty tires.. here is a pic of the coys C5 wheels on 2 different cars.. and lastly the KMC SS wheels, you can see the resemblance.. thanks for all the comments guys!!

congrats!  I love my RT too!
Great color.

Have fun with the Mustangs too!
The one is this vid had a lot to say about how slow the Challengers are until I ran a 13.21 stock down to the street tires.

Cool new Challenger. Looks like you've already changed wheels, that's what I would've done too. I'd lower it too to get rid of ugly fender-wheel space. Don't like cars that sit too high. How much was dealer mark-up?

:yesnod:  I would do both stripes..   :yesnod:

ramairthree

There are a ton of stripe options.

I went with just sides for now.

Because I am not sure if I am going to do a shaker hood mod or go with the Vararam CAI (waiting for testing results on that- if they truly come out with a .2 seconds/2mph quarter mile claim or your money back I am going to do that)

If I go with the vararam instead of shaker hood, I want the one piece, solid old school hood instead of the current two stripe version.

I went with gloss black instead of flat black, looks awesome,
but if doing over would go with flat black- the gloss shows imperfections as bad as a black paint job.

Congrats.  Good lookin' ride.

The factory wheels have an SRT look to them.  What are you doing with them?

70 Battle Horse

MUCH better pics here!!!  Did you order the solid hood stripe or the SRT split type? If solid I would definetly go with the 71 side stripes ....If the split type I would be on the fence, but probably go with the side stripes anyway! Did you reuse the good/years on the new rims? If I were to change out my chrome clads = I would use the same rims you have.... but I have been really pleased with the easy of clean / durability with my CCs...and I thought for sure I would hate em :shruggy: Again congrats on your new toy...she is a beauty.
Here is a few recent pics of my Challenger....yeah I really love it!!
