Some used car dealerships are like that. I went looking for a truck last year and I found this 01 CTD Ram that I liked. Looked it over well and then went inside to see sales guy (in this case its lady) I talked to her etc. We figured out deal etc but she didn't help at all with financing. She told me to go find my own financing etc and didn't really want to take off more than $1500 off the truck after I pointed out that it had accident report in Carfax. THIS TRUCK IS STILL THERE!!! Almost a year later it's sitting. I can't see how dealership can exist if they do not sell many cars at all, if any.

I find this work ethic happening in too many places. I get people that call in all the time and tell me I'm the first kind voice that they've heard in a long time that wants to help them. Stupid of anyone in sales to NOT help you with the financing since they add couple points to it from the lenders and make money on that as well. (I worked in auto lending for years). Also never tell them that you have financing in place because of that reason. I have had experience where I walked up to car, saw price, went inside with sales person and he told me the price wasn't what was on sticker it was more...about 5K more. ALL auto companies have had the attitude that we will buy whatever they make no matter what. Wrong.

I agree.. The days of dealerships charging anything OVER sticker is (or should be) over. They are in a position where they should be cutting each other's throats to sell their cars.. Instead they want to mark things up? Good luck to you...

Here's what I see when I think about Chrysler...
