ATLDaytona

Hello everyone-

This is my first post to the forum as I am a brand new member.  I have a F6 Green Daytona and live in Atlanta.  I purchased the car 1 year ago from a gentleman Canada.  It is all numbers matching.

I have been looking at the details surrounding the Talladega event this fall and plan on attending.  This will be the first time I have taken the car out and attended any kind of event.  From the pictures of years past, it looks like the weekend should be a blast!

I look forward to meeting a lot of you at the event and spending the weekend enjoying all the classic Winged Warriors!

Thanks,

ATLDaytona

Dave - Argyle sold a lot of good Iron. 1 Hemi Daytona, 3-440's and the last Hemi Challenger Ragtop built (my friend has owned it since 77). I think it's called Cooksville Dodge now.

I wonder where the other wings from Argyle wound up?

Tic  Tic  Tic........Dave, you are checking, aren't you!   ;D

Last time it showed up on anything I've found was +/-1989, when it sold for six figures.  I would guess the car is still around.  I had it marked down as a W1/red interior car, Hemi automatic - but I neglected to document where that info came from so it may not be 100% correct.

Isn't there a clone of that car built in Quebec from an original 440 car out of the south?

The white 440-4spd Daytona now a Hemi in Quebec is my old car I bought from Fred McNally-Michigan....if that's the one you mean. They put a red gut in it and the easy access spark plug motor.
