hi - re-doing my bucket seats and need to know if i should sandblast the frames and powder coat them black - has anybody done this before??  any recommendations??

Hey Rudy,

This is just my own opinion but the only one who'll know how pristine your seat frames are will be you were you to blast/powder coat them.
After upholstery all you might see will be the track/rails. My suggestion is to sand, primer and paint the seat tracks and rails only, anything else won't be seen.

I know where you're coming from though.......I sold a '69 Chevelle to buy my Charger but when I restored the Chevelle I had the bumper brackets powder coated......waste of time & money! A good sanding, primer and paint would've served the same purpose.
