Seems like not popular choice of caps for many, but I've always loved the "bullit" hubcaps, regardless of what color car they are on,and decided that since I had them ,I'd put them to use.I love the look of the Bullit Charger, and although not politically correct as mine is a 69,it's close enough for me.Picked up a set of barely used new bias WW's on rims ready to go at this years Carlisle.Might even been a member here, said they were on his car for only a TV cameo shoot.
Here are some pics, thanks again to Brian(1hot68)for the wheels !!!!!!

I wish I would have know 1hot68 was selling his set I would have jumped all over that set of wheels and tires myself. That was a great score for you. Is that a Gran National up on the lift? I bought a brand new non t-top GN back in 1987, absolutely the best car I ever owned.

When Brian went to do his shoot with his car he bought these tires new just for that,I loaned him my hubcaps to make the set.We set this up a few months ago to bring the wheels to Carlisle and I would pick them up.
  Yes,87 GN,owned since 92.

Thanks Chris, missed bumping into you this weekend.Other than Brian(1hot68),ran into Troy right next to my swap meet space though,Bill440 in the mega parts tent, and Brianshaughnessey. As for the car, definitely not show worthy, its just a cruise night car for now,to many battle scars, chips, scratches, dings, etc.Just fun to run around with for now.

Sounds like the perfect candidate to trade for a '69 C500...  ?.... ??   :yesnod:  :yesnod:

If you ever get tired of owning your/tea I sure would like to have a chance at making it my/tea. That would be the second car in the quest to build the set of triple, triple black second gens. All of the cars that I've owned are driven. I like quality driver cars but respect the trailer queens as well because they make great detail reference material. I'm of the opinion that they must be driven, not hidden. Just got back from my daily ritual of going to the post office to ship parts out. It was only 6 miles but it was fun. They are predicting rain for the next three to four days here... :'(

Those Are the correct "Deep Dish" Hubcaps for a '69 Special Edition". (I dunno what was used on the '70s)  :shruggy:
O.K. so now "somebody" should go ahead and tell just how wrong I am...

Charger looks fantastic in any case all dressed up in black with the White Walls and rocker stainless, very nice and a HUGE improvment over the 'ol "mint chip" R/T SE,.. Whatever happened to that 'old Paint anyhow?..

I have a collection of those wheel covers and they are correct on late 68 and all 69 models.
