Man, I have been there and done that. San Diego to KC in July and I almost roasted to death in a 69 Road Runner.

   thats all my pictures Ian was getting tired and we had an hour and 1/2 drive so we burned out alittle after 10pm

 Hope the heat does not make these two guys murder eachother on such a long HOT drive.  Me and my Brother almost killed eachother driving non-stop from San Diego to KC in July in my 69 RoadRunner. MAN was it HOT HOT HOT. Especailly going through Death Valley, Nevada and new Mexico. Texas sucked too. I think we had to stop for gas every 3 Hours.  Costs me 500 dollars in gas and this was in 1988.

They are taking the route throught the mountains instead of the hot 40 route.
