I looked under the console of an untouched 1970 B-body today it has this flat style boot with no question. So thats good.

Now I just need to verify it was/is also used on 69's , and per the eng drawing posted it at least should be  as the drawing is dated Feb 69

untouched interior . lower flat style boot

Bill, I'll look to see if I have a 69 B Body factory print also,...the 69 date on the 70 application above, is typical of factory drawings, usually 1-2 yrs before actual production, as typically a 3 year engineering/R&D start up was in gear before actual producton/release of said  parts for the year intended

Bill the factory 69 application photo is very poor, I can't make out the lower boot,....plus the info on the print has no PN indicated for it

Bill here's some part numbers for the B body 1969 4 spd application regarding boots/console, etc

I now know where an NOS lower boot is for a 66-68 Inland shifter is as well,,,,,,,,,,,,, :scratchchin: :slap:

Really? Do tell. And if/when you buy it when will you reproduce it? :scratchchin:

EDIT** Nevermind. I already snagged it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350344222186 :shruggy:

Wow, Curtis! Great snag! Looks like a reasonable price also. That has to be one of the rarest boots around....  :2thumbs:

Thanks. Yea, I thought the price was pretty doable considering the rarity. Almost afraid to use it now. :P

Nope, thats not the one I know of,  but a good find none the less. And considering the some what lack luster response I've received so far the 69-70 Boot.
No I will not tackle the inland lower boot.

But I have a decision to make,,, and soon

That wasn't it? :o Wow. Those things are as rare as hen's teeth and suddenly there's two NOS boots for sale in one day.
