NOS mirrors arrived - pictures included

My NOS 68-Charger mirrors have arrived finally. Baught them off www.mmpar.com (AMS Obsolete)

Yes they wanted 800US for the 2, but, I'm happy with what I have received, so is Kim. It's a one off thing to buy so why not. The condition I believe is great to from them.

The first 3 pictures are of that interesting washer or w/e it is, even has the pentastar marking on it (hope you see it in picture 1 left side slightly below half way)... reproduction mirrors do not come with that piece.

The next pictures are off the driver mirror (last driver mirror is the 1 with the remote pictured)

The rest are passenger mirrors

Sorry its done with webcam, but its the best I can still do... so hope you appreciate the effort since my right hand is in a cast since I broke it and it took me a good while to make the pictures.

Notice the black/blue arrows pointing to something that looks like an "extra" edge... (fake edge not real edge just how it is in the metal)

Is that normal for a passenger mirror back then or should it be as perfect as Im thinking (1 straight line no extra weird edge looking thing) ? Or is this me being WAY to fussy...

Also can it be smoothed out so it is as fussy as I would like?

Can't help ya...don't know if the "edge" is supposed to be there or not, but for 800 dollars,.......I'd be fussy too.

I know people like pictures and Im 1 person with very few as i dont have a camera(as clearly seen)

Well Im excited about them, my charger is in progress, but my parts have finaly arrived. (T-bars, sway bar, SS springs, new clutch, polygraphite bushing, barrings, pitman and idler arms etc) Pretty much the entire bottom of car is mechanicaly re-done. The mirrors was probbably my favourite considering its an ORIGINAl part Brand new that I was not alive to buy in the 1960 or 70's

Hi just looked @ my NOS passenger mirror and it doesnt have a rounded edge as much as your showing in the pic- mine sharper on the edge and also doesnt have a long flatter spot as your- hope it helps

Which 'long flatter' spot?

Able to get a picture and stick 1 arrow on it?
