Help with a Vin#

XS29O00218482      This is the vin on my 70'

Well, of the three "O's" after the "XS29", only the second makes sense.   The first one is engine size, the second one is year, and the third is assembly plant.   There must be a misprint there somewhere.

Unless you have a Hemi car then the 5th would be a "J" or a Six pack then it would be a "V"

Danny, ALL 1970 Chargers were built in St. Louis. The G would be correct for this car. What's the B for?

I've owned the car for 12 years. Because of my job & horrible divorce 7 years ago, I haven't spent much time or money on it. Other than to pay storage & move it around the country.

No worries bro, the divorce was one of the best thing thats happened to me. If not for that, I would have never met my new wife.    She's a ford girl [65 Stang fastback] but I think I'll keep her anyway! 

Hopefully, this winter/spring, I'll be able to start on the Resto/Modifacation of the Charger.

The B in the VIN is the plant code for Hamtramck, MI.

69 Chargers were either built at the "B" plant or the "G" plant.......
