I walked up and down most of the swap meets used parts aisle's curious to see what people brought to sell this year.  Most spots had the same rusty parts covered in rust and smelling of grease.  All that I saw of wing parts was a used white SuperBird Hood, $2500.  Looked OK on top but the underside had some issues.  I really wasn't expecting much, for me the best spot was B/E & A.  These guys are doing a great job,  I purchased a 70 b body steering wheel that is almost a perfect match to my original one.  I also picked up a pair of S/B front marker housing. An exact copy down to the parts numbers on back.  Maybe there is hope for the hobby again.

There was only 5 birds out in the field along with 2 Daytonas.

I had two spaces at Carlisle but a last minute change of plans prevented me from coming.   Here are just a few of the wing car items I had loaded up.  Probably the most NOS wing car sheet metal you've ever seen in one place.  All this stuff is available and for sale as individual parts.

NOS Nose Cone

NOS Hood

NOS LH Fender

NOS Bird NASCAR Fenders LH & RH

The race fenders are identical to street but do not have the front bracing for the hood pins.

NOS Rear Plug

NOS Deck Lid

NOS Wing

NOS Actuator

NOS Side Markers (both sides)

NOS LH Turn Signal Assy

NOS 70 RR/Bird Trunk Mat

Models

That's the tip of the iceberg:

NOS Bird Fender Scoop
NOS Wing Gaskets
NOS Headlight Door Decals
NOS Superbird Grille Frame (center)
NOS Headlight Bucket Small Parts
NOS Charger 500 Grille with brackets
USed Bird A-post deflectors

how much for all of it ?

More than your boat! :popcrn:

I'll take the boat, a pizza and a 6-pack.   Maybe the Dodge Ram too.    I need a newer tow vehicle.

Did you see this car

http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,43262.msg475716/topicseen.html#msg475716

Had sold on the window yesterday afternoon.

My wife & I stopped to look at this car & get a few photos. I like seeing the rougher, or unrestored wing cars because it assures me that they are what they are, "cars" & not museum pieces.

My wife started talking to the owner & told her that he sold the car within minutes of parking it there. He was asking $69K & said he was offered $65K for it & took it. As bad as it looks in the photo, it's a nice, solid car with very low miles.
