Thanks for shraring these great pic's.
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

The Bengel Charger IS a Clone.......I talked with the nice people who owned it.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

IMHO.    Most interesting at the kickoff show.

Just another (yawn) 68 HEMI Barracuda clone...   until you look at the motor more closely.   And it sounded nasty too.  About 500 hp.
Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

There were tons of 3rd gens there...they were just in another row. The tent was near the front of the 68 and 70 model years so that's why there aren't any in the background pics.

That would be my friends Pat and John's twin turbo Dart.   They're collectively known as Empire Mopars.   The car was at the last SEMA show.   Here's a Utube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz0vuCmzFEs

There's a portion of the original video that was cut out...  namely where the car caught on fire and had to get rebuilt and repainted and just got redone before the show.

The least Mr. Norms could have done was throw a real shaker hood on those "Cuda's".
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.
