I know im putting the cart in front of the horse, with me needing a new set of heads and all, but are there any real advantages of a dual quad setup?

besides the fact that they just look cool!

I think it looks cool.  I just put one on a 383 and it seems to have more power and rev faster, but I also did some head work and added HP exhaust system, windage tray etc.  It was a lot of effort to find all the parts I needed to make it look like a factory setup.

I just saw a setup on a local craigslist for Intake,2 carbs and a set of micky tompson valve covers for $500 :)

damn it's tempting.
