Slant Six Flywheel Question

Hey all,
the slant six I asked about in a previous topic does infact have a broken Crankshaft on the no.6 rod journal. We got a line on another engine that came from an 1981 Plymouth of some kind. We were told that there are 2 flywheel bolt paterns......... one has a 6 bolt and the other is an 8 bolt. How can a person tell which one we are dealing with with the engine still in the truck?

The 8-bolt pattern is found on Hemi V8's and some industrial/truck V8's, the /6 will have six bolts.
