I have a 70 charger that I bought a a couple years ago and just started to do a little work to it (I m in the middle of my 69 project), but i pulled the bench seat and found the build sheet SWEEEET, but then I pulled the carpet and found another sheet that looks to be another build sheet but I cant read it, it is stuck to the floor. Is that common?? I only found one on my 69 so I was curious..and excited to find one at least :icon_smile_cool:

It isn't common to find more than one (not exactly uncommon though either) but there were several used in the assembly plant.  They were each the same but different areas of subassembly used their own sheet and as the car came together sometimes all of the sheets went into the car sometimes only one and sometimes none.

Todd_Wilson's 71 charger had 3 or 4 build sheets in it if i recall correctly.

I have found three different buildsheets (well, what is left of them, mostly crumbs) in my 70 /6 seats, but none matched the car.  Hopefully, when the interior comes out for further work, I will find the one that belongs to the car.  Remember, buildsheets have been found all over the interior part of the car (door panels, gloveboxes, underneath seats, underneath carpets, glued to roof, etc), so it never hurts to look in all the possible places it could potentially be......

Each car had 80 or more sheets printed for it, they were printed out at all of the sub-assembly areas of the plant simultaneously. Hence the name - "broadcast" sheet.

The most I have heard of found in one car so far is five.
